Self-Worth
Why do I feel angry all the time?
Anger is rarely the first feeling. It is often the only feeling that ever felt safe to express.
For many men, anger is the only emotion that wasn't shamed in childhood. So sadness becomes anger. Fear becomes anger. Powerlessness becomes anger.
The work isn't to suppress the anger. It's to understand what it is standing in front of, and to give those quieter feelings somewhere to go.
