Corporate partnerships
Coaching that reaches the men your wellbeing programme never will.
MendCoaching partners with organisations to provide focused, confidential coaching support for men across the areas we specialise in, managed as a twelve-month partnership within your staff wellbeing or benefits offer.
Why this matters
Why corporate partners use this work.
Most workplace wellbeing provision is built for people who will raise their hand. The men who most need support are usually the least likely to. They keep functioning. They hit targets. They carry grief, separation, drinking, burnout or anger quietly, and nobody in the building knows until something breaks: a resignation, an absence you cannot explain, a team that has quietly learned to walk around someone.
Our corporate partnerships exist for that gap. Independent, confidential coaching with men's specialists, offered as a genuine benefit rather than a poster in the kitchen. What follows is what that looks like in practice.
- Men are dramatically less likely to talk to anyone at work about what they are carrying, which means the men under the most strain are usually invisible to your current wellbeing offer.
- The things that erode performance, attendance and retention, such as grief, separation, drinking, burnout and anger, are exactly the things men will discuss with an independent coach but not with a manager or an EAP script.
- A confidential external coach gives men a room that belongs to them. It is not a referral, not a flag on a file, and not a conversation that comes back to their line manager.
- Sustained work over twelve months beats one-off initiatives. Trust is built over quarters, not lunchtimes, and the men who need it most are the slowest to come forward.
What we cover
Focused coaching in any of the areas we work in.
A partnership is not one generic programme. Every coaching place can be used in any of the areas we specialise in, and the employee chooses, privately, what the work is actually about.
Trauma
Paced, trauma-informed one-to-one work for men carrying things they have never had words for.
Addiction recovery
Identity-level recovery work for men whose drinking or compulsive behaviour has gone past the point of managing it.
Childhood trauma
For the man whose childhood is still quietly running his adult life, at work and at home.
Fatherhood and separation
Support through fatherhood, family court, separation and the pressure of holding a family together.
Anger and self-worth
Work on the temper that leaks out at home, the inner critic, and the worth underneath both.
Any of the above, one partnership
Employees choose the area that fits them. A single partnership covers every strand of the work, because people rarely arrive with tidy labels.
How it runs
Managed as a twelve-month partnership.
We work with organisations on annual partnerships rather than one-off sessions, because that is how the work actually lands. A set of coaching places your people can use all year, group sessions, retreat time, and reporting you can stand behind, all shaped with you before the year begins.
- 1
Month 1: Shape the partnership
We meet with you to understand your organisation, your people and what you are actually seeing. Together we agree the number of coaching places, the formats, the reporting you want, and the boundaries that protect confidentiality.
- 2
Ongoing: Confidential one-to-one coaching
Employees book directly with us, online or in person, without going through HR or a manager. Each person chooses the focus area that fits them, and the work is paced to them, not to a wellbeing calendar.
- 3
Ongoing: Group sessions and workshops
On-site or online men's circles, and workshops for managers on trauma-informed practice, having honest conversations, and noticing the signs men usually hide. Group sessions are always optional and never framed as remedial.
- 4
Between sessions: The Coaching Companion
Every place includes access to our private digital companion, where the work continues between sessions with structured exercises, check-ins and journaling. Employees can use it privately, on their own device.
- 5
Quarterly: Anonymised reporting
Each quarter you receive an aggregate report: take-up, themes, and where the pressure is sitting across the organisation. No names, no team-level breakdowns that could identify anyone, ever.
- 6
Any point: Corporate retreats
Within the partnership we can run a private retreat for a leadership team or group, or secure places on our scheduled men's retreats. Time away from the building does something a lunchtime webinar never will.
Partnerships scale from a handful of places for a senior team to organisation-wide provision. Costs depend on the number of places, formats and travel, so we quote after a short conversation rather than publishing a rate card.
Retreats
Corporate retreats as part of the partnership.
Some of the most important conversations men have with each other do not happen in a meeting room. Within a partnership we can design and run a private retreat for your leadership team or a group of employees: facilitated circles, structured time away, and space to talk honestly, held by people who have done this work for years.
Alternatively, partnership places can include spots on our scheduled men's retreats, where individuals from your organisation join a retreat alongside other men rather than colleagues.
Every retreat is trauma-informed, optional, and designed with you beforehand. No forced sharing, no trust falls, no colouring-in.
Boundaries
Confidentiality is the whole point.
Employees book and attend privately. We never tell an employer who is using the service, what was discussed, or how many sessions someone has had. Quarterly reporting is anonymised and aggregate only.
Coaching is not therapy, counselling or crisis care, and it is not a substitute for clinical treatment. We operate within a published safeguarding policy with a clear scope of practice. Where someone's needs exceed coaching, we refer or work alongside an appropriate service, and we will be honest with you about where that line sits.
Questions
Corporate partnership questions.
- What does a corporate partnership include?
- A twelve-month partnership typically includes a set number of confidential one-to-one coaching places, optional group sessions and workshops for teams, access to the Coaching Companion between sessions, and anonymised quarterly reporting. Everything is shaped with you before the year begins.
- Will the employer know who is using the coaching?
- No. Employees book directly and privately. The employer never learns who has used the service or what was discussed. Reporting is anonymised and aggregate only, so you can see take-up and themes without ever seeing names.
- Is coaching a substitute for therapy or clinical care?
- No. Coaching is not therapy, counselling or crisis care. MendCoaching works alongside clinical and statutory services, not in place of them, and operates within a published safeguarding policy with a clear scope of practice.
- Do you offer corporate retreats?
- Yes. As part of a partnership we can run private retreats for leadership teams or groups of employees, or secure places on our scheduled men's retreats. Format, location and duration are agreed with you during planning.
- How much does a corporate partnership cost?
- Costs depend on the number of coaching places, the formats you want and any travel or retreat time, so we quote after a short conversation rather than publishing a rate card.
- How do we start?
- Send a partnership enquiry telling us about your organisation and what you are seeing in your people. Jaymes replies within two working days, usually to arrange a thirty-minute call.
